Silverwood LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates RevMaps and is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address (used for authentication only)
• Username (your public handle)
• Car information you choose to share (year, make/model, car type)

Location Data

When you enable the live map, we collect your device's GPS coordinates to:

• Show your pin on the map to other users (based on your visibility setting)
• Display your last known location to friends you approve
• Help you find nearby meets

Location is only collected while you have the app open or when background location is enabled. You can turn off location sharing at any time from the app's visibility settings.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage information such as:

• Meets you create or RSVP to
• Friend connections you make
• Profile photo you upload (stored securely in our cloud)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate RevMaps:

• To display your profile and car to other drivers on the map
• To connect you with friends and nearby meets
• To send push notifications about meets and friend activity (only if you enable them)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Sharing

We share your information only in these limited cases:

• Other RevMaps users — Your username, car info, and location (based on your visibility setting) are visible to other users as described above.
• Supabase — Our backend database and authentication provider. Data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Apple — Push notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
• Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Your Choices & Controls

• Visibility: Set your map visibility to Everyone, Friends Only, or Hidden at any time from the Profile tab.
• Location: Disable location access at any time in iOS Settings → RevMaps → Location.
• Account deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app: go to the Profile tab → Delete Account. You can also contact us at the support address below to request deletion.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

RevMaps is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of RevMaps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
